Neil commences pupillage with 9 King's Bench Walk in October 2023, and he brings with him a wealth of varied experiences from his first career as an Army officer on which he will build his legal practice. During his transition to law Neil completed the Graduate Diploma in Law with an Outstanding grade, and the Bar Practice Course with a Very Competent grade, alongside working as a Learning Development Advisor and supporting the Uyghur Tribunal as Chief Operating Officer. 
 
He has attended summer schools with the Geoffrey Nice Foundation in Dubrovnik and Pristina, exploring and contributing to the topics of transitional justice and post-conflict resolution in the wider Balkan region.
