Profile:

Adrian joined Chambers in 2025. He has over a decade’s experience of providing legal services, including court advocacy in the High Court, County Court, Crown Court and Magistrates’ Court. Whilst primarily a criminal practitioner, he has a wide experience of civil, and family law (especially s42 Family Law Act work) and has solid experience of regulatory law. Adrian completed a reduced pupillage after securing a waiver for the entirety of the first six months due to previous experience of providing legal services and court advocacy. He has a wide experience of prosecuting and defending general crime in both the Crown and Magistrates’ Court, including sexual and violence offences and marshalling on murder trials.

Prior to moving into legal practice, Adrian worked for 20 years in related areas including legislative drafting, public affairs and policy development, working in both the Westminster and European Parliaments, advising government, corporations and campaign groups on how to effect legislative change.
Adrian is well-regarded for solid client handling skills, for being a pragmatic prosecutor and for his understanding approach to people he defends. Whilst known for being thorough in case preparation, he is flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. He is a very solid Court advocate but also provides realistic, pragmatic advice to his clients.
Adrian is conversationally fluent in French and German.
