Clement Idowu is a tenacious and fearless advocate, known for his meticulous preparation and strategic approach to litigation. He has extensive experience in trial advocacy and case preparation, representing clients in serious criminal matters before both the Crown Court and Magistrates’ Court nationwide.
His practice spans all aspects of criminal law, from early case assessment to courtroom advocacy in multi-handed trials, complex evidential disputes, and sensitive cases. He is regularly instructed in cases involving serious violence, organised crime, drug conspiracies, and sexual offences.
As an accredited police station representative and holding a Magistrates’ Court qualification, Clement provides comprehensive legal representation from the earliest stages of an investigation through to trial. His in-depth understanding of police procedures and prosecutorial tactics allows him to anticipate challenges, counteract strategies, and build strong defences on behalf of his clients.
With his recent appointment to the CPS General Crime Panel (Level 1), Clement is expanding his expertise into prosecution work, applying his extensive experience in criminal defence when acting on behalf of the Crown. Additionally, his growing regulatory and extradition practice reflects his ability to handle legally intricate and high-stakes matters.
