At 9KBW you will;
- Be instructed in a diverse range of Criminal and Regulatory cases from the Magistrates and Crown Courts through to the Court of Appeal
- Be assisted and encouraged to apply to the CPS and Other Panels from pupillage onwards.

Pupillage
We have five dedicated, experienced pupil supervisors and a large number of members who can act as Qualified Persons for those yet to meet the three year standing rule.
Our Pupillage Training Programme ensures that pupils have the very best opportunity to meet all of the competences required by the Professional Statement, excellent Advocacy training and the guarantee of a very busy practice during the second six, again with an excellent level of income. Our pupils are awarded guaranteed minimum funding in the first six and during second six their income very quickly exceeds that and grows rapidly.
9BW adheres strictly to the Pupillage Gateway timetable.

CPS Pupil Secondments
Our new CPS Secondment Programme offers CPS Pupils a one month secondment with Chambers where everything that is available to Chambers pupils is made available to secondees. Excellent supervision with the opportunity to observe and assist members at all levels of seniority
Our programme is currently being finalised for the entire year, but we are now accepting applications for 2025.

Mini-Pupillages
For those looking at a career at the Bar, we offer 25 mini-pupillages each year to applicants who qualify. Spend 5 days experiencing the reality of life at the Criminal Bar and a Chambers environment.
