After a decade working in the regulatory sector, Tony returns to private practice on a part-time basis, bringing extensive experience in financial services, financial crime and complex disclosure work.

He is currently employed as an Ombudsman at the Financial Ombudsman Service, appointed under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. In this statutory role, he issues legally binding decisions in complaints about financial institutions, with a focus on fraud and scams.  

Tony previously worked at the Financial Conduct Authority within its Enforcement and Market Oversight division. There, he conducted large-scale disclosure exercises in financial crime prosecutions.  

He accepts instructions in all areas of crime and appears in the Crown, Magistrates’ and Youth Courts. 

Alongside his practice, Tony is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. He has been actively involved in DEI initiatives throughout his employed roles, and has spoken at numerous grassroots events about his lived experience and the importance of diverse representation.
