Jonathan Mole successfully Prosecutes high level County Lines drug dealer who exploited teenagers – sentenced to 9 and a Half Years.
Jonathan Mole was instructed to prosecute in this substantial operation, following a complex joint investigation between the County Line and Gangs team within Kent Police and the Operation Orochi team at the Metropolitan Police.
These two policing units were set up specifically, by their respective forces, to tackle county line drug dealers and they swiftly identified that Garcia was responsible for running what was known as the ‘Tyler’ drugs line.
Having secured guilty pleas to significant drug supply charges, further investigation revealed that the defendant had trafficked vulnerable teenage boys from London down to Kent to operate as the ‘on the ground runners’ for the Tyler line. Despite the non-co-operation of the exploited individuals, an application to dismiss was resisted and the defendant then pleaded guilty to the Trafficking charges.
