The successful appeal was against the decision of the SSHD who refused to revoke a deportation order made in the early 1990s. The Appellant re-entered the UK in 2006 in breach of the deportation order and remained in the UK since. The Appellant suffered with serious heart problems and despite providing detailed medical evidence the SSHD refused to revoke the deportation order
On 1st December 2017 Lambeth Borough Commander Detective Chief Superintendent Richard Wood commended 9 KBW for it’s ‘Selflessness and Generosity’ in providing training to police officers.
