Sam March successful in High Court appeal against an order for the immediate destruction of a dog under s.4(1) of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (“the 1991 Act”).

F v CPS This case was a High Court appeal, by way of case stated, before Lord Justice Coulson under s.28 of the Senior Courts Act 1981 from a decision of the Crown Court at Harrow, made on 15 June 2023 for the destruction of a dog under the DDA 199.

Following successful submissions by Sam March, Lord Justice Coulson found that Yosser, the dog in question, would not pose a danger to public safety and the appeal was allowed.
