Before pupillage, Atticus managed a busy caseload as a criminal defence paralegal at Langfield Law Solicitors, including murder, POCA, EncroChat, modern slavery and extradition matters. He develops a strong rapport with clients and brings experience of safeguarding the interests of vulnerable individuals through volunteering as an Appropriate Adult in police stations.
He previously acted as a research assistant for David Ormerod CBE, KC (Hon) and has published academic journal articles on whole life order sentencing, international criminal law and immigration.
