Areas of work

Jeremy came to the Bar as a mature entrant having enjoyed a successful career in international commerce. He completed his pupillage with Ali Azhar at 9 King’s Bench Walk in 2001 and in over a decade of practice since has developed a flourishing practice, specialising in both criminal and immigration law. His mastery of these areas gives him an extra advantage in advising and representing clients who are involved in litigation in both jurisdictions (those facing criminal allegations and related deportation proceedings, for example). His relaxed out of court persona (popular with instructing solicitors and lay clients) belies an incisive and determined manner in court which he deploys to full advantage with Judge and Jury alike.
