Defendants convicted of rape and sexual assault

Robert Evans successfully prosecutes in the trials of two defendants charged with sexual assault involving the rape and abuse of children over periods of many years.

In the first a father (D) was convicted for a series of historic rapes of his daughter from 1993 to 2001. D was ultimately sentenced to 17 years imprisonment and in a similar case, where the abuse was equally as horrific, Robert prosecuted Joao Monteiro for sexually abusing his step-daughter and daughters from 1993 to 2007. Monteiro was ultimately sentenced to 12 years imprisonment."
