Paul Douglass, Robyn Murdo Smith, Catherine Picardo, Bill Gatward, our intern Claire Stephenson and Hendon Volunteer Police Cadets, all took roles in a mock trial held at Inner Temple for Police Officers (see our front page of the website showing them in action) After the “trial” Robyn Murdo Smith said “It was gratifying to see police officers so keen to develop court room skills that they attended this mock trial off duty as well as members of the Hackney Volunteer Police Cadets who formed the Jury panel. I am sure that we all learned something from this exercise. Detective Constable Nicholas Goldwater, Committee Member of The Jewish Police Association said “The Jewish Police Association have been proud to work with 9 KBW to facilitate this valuable training for police officers, I know from feedback that the officers involved derived considerable benefit from taking part”.
