Robyn Murdo-Smith secures an acquittal for a client charged with Grievous Bodily Harm with intent
The defendant had been charged in a case where it was alleged that he had acted in a joint enterprise to attack a man resulting in very serious injuries to his face. The other man was also charged with a separate GBH with intent where the victim had been struck on the head with a scaffolding pole leading to life threatening injuries. After a four day trial at Luton Crown Court the defendant represented by Robyn was acquitted on 17th July 2015 but the Co -Defendant was convicted and sentenced to 12 years imprisonment
