John Clifford prosecutes attempted murder case

John Clifford is prosecuting an attempted murder case in which a conman attacked a writer whilst giving him a massage in his Mayfair home. The frenzied knife attack alegedly took place while Darren Scott, 26 performed a friendly massage on the Mayfair writer. The court heard how Scott repeatedly stabbed the writer - who can not be named for legal reason - before he managed to break free and lock himself in the bathroom.

Mr Clifford told the Court "It was then that (he) became aware that Mr Scott began tapping, trying to find a vein in his neck.

"The next thing he was aware of, He had been stabbed without warning by Mr Scott in the neck"
