Harriet Snookes successfully represents grime artist and music producer in application for interim injunction against popular social media commentator

Harriet Snookes is currently instructed to represent a successful grime artist and music producer at Clerkenwell and Shoreditch County Court. Harriet was successful in applying for an interim injunction preventing the respondent, a popular social media commentator, from pursuing a course of action amounting to harassment. The application involved complex consideration of jurisdictional issues as the defendant resides in the United Arab Emirates. Ms Snookes satisfied the court that the content of the respondent’s videos about the claimant, which have amassed over a hundred thousand views, attacked the claimant, made abusive comments, and made threats which hung over him, and therefore that there was a serious question to be tried. A full hearing of the matter is to be listed in January 2026.
